Dennis Heijn (1963) previously wrote It Takes Speed to Dodge Trees; Acting Differently by Looking at Things Differently (2014). In this book he shares the experiences of his international career with Heineken. This was followed by The Fearless Monkey, A Creative Guide to Leadership in a Paradoxical World (2018), an English book on leadership and life in general.
The publication of his debut received great press interest and the author offers an interesting profile and network of international journalists, authors, climate activists, and opinion leaders who will support the promotion of the book internationally.
For Against the Flow Dennis was inspired by his own critical attitude towards international business, his fascination with the fact that even the best intentions can have bad outcomes, and the kidnapping and murder of his own father, over 35 years ago. Dennis Heijn is married and the father of seven children. He will be actively promoting translated editions of his book, is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, and will get by in French and German. |
