An editor supports an author while designing, writing and finetuning a book. But you also support an author emotionally during this creative and wonderful, but sometimes also laborious and fragile process.

At an early stage I can help brainstorming about the structure and core message of the book. Then I can help improve the general idea and architecture of the book to make sure that the message gets across better to the reader. Once there is a first version of the complete manuscript, I can provide corrections and suggestions. And if there is a second (or sixth) version of the manuscript, I can read for final suggestions.
